Maintenance Schedules

All State-owned vehicles in the CSUF Fleet are required to have regularly scheduled, preventive maintenance inspections. Schedules are based on the vehicle type and follow utilize the DGS OFAM 35 form as a basis for inspections. Schedules are as follows;

  • Gas Powered, Hybrid, Electric: 6 Months
  • Electric Cart & Low-Speed Vehicle: 3 Months

The inspection schedule of a new unit is determined during the Pre-Delivery Inspection and on-boarding to the campus Fleet. Department contacts will be notified of the schedule and will receive email notifications of upcoming vehicle inspections.

Escalation Process for Missed Inspections:

  • Immediately after a missed scheduled inspection: an email is sent to the Department Contact
  • One week after the missed scheduled inspection: an email is sent to the relevant MPP
  • If the inspection is not completed by the end of the scheduled month: an email is sent to the AVP or equivalent.

Cart Reservations
