Titan Gateway Pedestrian Bridge

Project Overview

The Titan Gateway Pedestrian Bridge project will construct a new pedestrian bridge over Nutwood Avenue at the Commonwealth Avenue intersection, creating a connection between the main Cal State Fullerton campus and College Park.

The project is intended to improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow, address neighborhood concerns, and encourage walking between College Park and the main campus. Construction will occur in phases and may periodically affect roadways, sidewalks, traffic patterns, and pedestrian routes surrounding the project area.

About the Project

Project Scope

The Titan Gateway Pedestrian Bridge project includes construction of a new prefabricated, single-span truss bridge over Nutwood Avenue, with approach ramps and supporting retaining walls.

Additional improvements include modifications to roadway medians and striping; improvements to the College Park north parking lot and fire lane; and new landscaping and lighting surrounding the bridge and intersection.
