Unit Mission

Commissioning integrates engineering techniques and procedures to verify the effectiveness of critical elements of a construction project. Commissioning activities are applicable to all phases of a project from design, procurement, construction, all the way through final completion. The mission of commissioning is to facilitate the transfer of all building systems from the contractor to the owner, guaranteeing its operability in terms of performance, efficiency and functionality. As such, commissioning is a highly critical element for the successful completion of any construction project on campus.
